Anthea & Mat were married at the beautiful Goldie Room on Waiheke Island. They wanted a fun and vibrant day that reflected their personalities and journey as a couple. The brief was to create a rich colour palette with a few geometric influences. Anthea wanted to feel like the outdoors came in with lots of lush plants and festoon lighting. Handmade geometric favours were filled with traditional sugared almonds and also acted as place names for the day. The table settings went so well with the amazing table runners one of the family members had painted. Our popular wooden signs were given a face-lift with some colourful ribbons too!
"We were organising our wedding from afar in Amsterdam and realised 2 months out from the big day that we needed extra help to set up the venue.
Becks was happy to come one board with short notice, was able to pick up on and work with our existing ideas.Communication was good and timely, especially around costs and budget - which we appreciated. We were really happy with the outcome, the room looked fantastic and was a how we had imagined it could look.
Overall, we feel that Becks and her services are great value for money, instead of rushing all over Auckland in the week before our wedding, and setting up and breaking down around the day, we were able to enjoy our precious time with our family and friends, and most importantly, relax, knowing that she had it covered."
