DIY Party Pinwheels- Easy Peasy Tutorial

I am super duper excited about this tutorial. I have always LOVED these little guys and was pleased as punch to find that they were so easy to make. What's better is I had all the stuff I needed already AND  (the best bit) I could sit on the couch while making them! Nice!
I have added a template here which you can copy and use too!Becks x

TEMPLATE
Copy and save the template below, we have added another so you can see where you can place text and pictures.
From our images you will see that we have printed on the back of our card with a dotted pattern and that the template side is quite simple. If you aren't printing anything on your pinwheels, print a template and use it to help you cut out your patterned paper. You can make any sized pinwheels, ours worked out to be about 12cm. We fit 6 on an A4 page.

STEP FOUR: Push pin through the centre hole. This can be a little bit fiddly.

STEP FIVE: Push the pin through the top of the popsicle stick. Make sure you leave a decent space between the card and the stick so the pinwheel can have room to move.

STEP SIX: Bend the pin with your finger holding the ball end firmly. Remember to leave enough space for the pinwheel to move.

STEP SEVEN: Use a bit of tape to wrap around the pin, this stops anyone from stabbing themselves on the sharp edge. Some pretty washi tape looks good.
