I wanted to touch on the beauty and wonderment of receiving a wedding invitation in the good ol fashioned mailbox. I don't know about you but I just love getting something in the mail that isn't a bill or junk mail and sadly, it rarely happens. We are getting more and more digital everyday and for some couples this has gone as far as digital invites.
Now I'm not completely against this type of thing, it has a place. A digital 'save the date' can be really helpful and cost effective especially when inviting guests that will be travelling and there is the matter of collecting rsvp's which can be done easily and efficiently online.
Of course it's your wedding so do whatever the heck you like but before deciding on that digital invite remember those moments where you walked out to the letterbox in your slippers, cuppa in your hand and received that special postcard or handwritten letter or perhaps ran your hand over the embossed lettering of a wedding invitation, remember how you felt.
